Getting Connected! Am I?

Over Easter weekend, we were able to attend Life.Church in Person on Saturday instead on doing our usual online service. I ended up realizing that with the size of the church is, it's easy to for the regulars to not know for sure if we are regular attenders or not. It's friendly church, but it can be hard to connect. This is much more so if you are not actively looking for it and make yourself available.

We've been in the DFW area for almost 3 years, and I still haven't connected with and found my community. In other words, I still looking for friends. This is partially my fault since the last 16 months I haven't been out and about to make those connections that turn into friendships.

Have you ever been in the situation where you meet someone and had that connection where it could be friends if you give it time and active participation, yet don't follow-up and follow through with make friends with that person?

I've been there.

That's what happened after the service Easter weekend. I made a connection. Just had a follow up coffee date. Now the question is, will I put in the effort and making a friend?

How well do you make friends?

How well do you retain those friendships?

How well do you build your community?
