It’s amazing how much we forget to be Grateful for what truly matters in our life.
We end up focusing on the day-to-day routine instead of the bigger pictures and why we are doing them.
Here is a great reminder of how we should look at life in a Grateful manner in our life:
1. Early Wakeup
-> Children to Love
2. Hose to Clean
-> To Live
3. Laundry
-> To Wear
4. Dishes to wash
-> To Eat
5. Crumbs under the table
-> For Meals
6. Grocery Shopping
-> To Provide For Us
7. Toilets to clean
-> Indoor Plumbing
8. Lots of noise
-> People In My Life
9. Endless questions about homework
-> Kids’ Brains Growing
10. Sore & Tired in bed
-> I’m Still Alive!!
How often do you sit down and write out 10 things you are Grateful for?
When I was in High School, every Friday, we wrote 10 things that we were Grateful for in our lives. We could include the people that were involved in our lives. I think that we tend to forget the people that are involved in our lives.
I encourage you to pick a day, or maybe every morning, to do this simple reflection.
